A welterweight struggle between Randy Brown and Muslim Salikhov has been added to UFC Vegas 85, and the Feb. 3 struggle card has misplaced three fighters as a consequence of damage, the promotion announced Thursday.
Among the many fighters scrapped from the winter occasion: Nate Maness, Kiefer Crosbie and William Gomis.
Maness was scheduled to tackle Azat Maksum, however Maksum will now tackle Charles Johnson in a flyweight bout. Welterweight Crosbie has been changed by Pete Rodriguez, who will now tackle Themba Gorimbo.
Moreover, a featherweight bout between William Gomis and Melsik Baghdasaryan has been cancelled as a consequence of Gomis’ withdrawal, and Baghdasaryan will now face Hyder Amil at UFC Vegas 86 on Feb. 10 in Las Vegas, the promotion introduced.
Brown vs. Salikhov was scheduled to happen at UFC 296 earlier than Salikhov was scratched due to illness.
